Andreas Odendahl (Ode), the designer of La Granja<\/a>, propose us the dice version of his very good game.<\/p>\n

We can find a lot of elements of La Granja <\/a>in this dice version: First of all the theme, the caps, the roof of our farm and all the animals & legumes.\u00a0 We lose the cards mechanism with all their different functionalities.\u00a0 Otherwise, we gain a new dice mechanism.<\/p>\n

This dice mechanism is near the one of Blueprints<\/a>: the dice draft.\u00a0 The active player roll all the dices and take one.\u00a0 Every other players, in turn, take one too.\u00a0 The active player reroll the rest of the dices and take a second dice.\u00a0 The others take one too.\u00a0 Finally, there\u2019s one dice left which is rolled a last time by the active player.\u00a0 All the players receive the resource showed by the last dice.<\/p>\n

The 6 sides of a dice represent the same 6 resources.\u00a0 When a player takes a dice, he takes the represented resource.\u00a0 And this is where the genius of Ode speaks.\u00a0 As you roll and often reroll the dices, it is very rare that you are not satisfied with the outcome of the dice roll.\u00a0 Moreover, No Siesta is perfectly balanced so that a resource is worth another. La Granja No Siesta is one of the only dice games where we not complain about the results of the dice rolls!<\/p>\n

The rest of the game is more classic. With the acquired resources, we will fill in our personal plateau that represents his farm on a paper. We will check on the sheet the received resources depending on where you want to spend them:
